Roman Komassa was the first dancer in the Grand Theater in £odz and the Baltic Dance Theatre. He also performed in Staatstheater in Kassel, Braunschweig and Giessen. He collaborated with the Polish Dance Theater in Poznañ. He was awarded the Leon Wójcikowski Medal for the best Polish Dancer (1988) and the Wac³aw Ni¿yñski Medal for the outstanding achievements in ballet. He has produced a number of brilliant creations on the Polish zegarków and German stages (Albert in Gisele, Spartakus, Wroñski in Anna Karenina, Twardowski, Romeo, Zorba, Pietruszka). He is the author of the choreography to nearly 30 ballet performances. |
